Appearance: About 5'6" and lean, he has wavy blond hair which is always messy, sticking up in all directions, and hazel eyes. He can usually be found in jeans and a t-shirt in his hometown of Agate, which stays warm nearly year round. He doesn't like the cold, however, and will wear many layers whenever he travels up into colder areas.
Personality: He's friendly and easy-going and likes to be friends with everyone he meets. He's optimistic and sees the good in every situation and in everybody. He very rarely gets angry or loses his temper, but it's not too hard to make him sad - just being mean will do it, although he gets over it very quickly
History: He grew up in Agate City and never thought much about ever leaving. Originally wanting to be a breeder, he worked with a local group to learn how to work with Pokemon. When he was 15, he met the local gym leader, who had a Pokemon at the breeding facility. When the gym leader's Pokemon escaped, Ace tracked the Pokemon down and became a new favorite of the gym leader, who did his best to convince Ace to train under him. Although Ace was resistant to the idea, he was tempted away with the chance to own his own Pokemon, an Eevee.
Within two years, Ace was the best trainer at the gym, even able to beat the gym leader on several occasions by using his strategy of using very fast Pokemon. The gym leader then sent Ace out traveling to Johto, since he felt he could go further if he pushed himself and while in Johto, he met Levina, another talented trainer. He spent time with her before returning home, and shortly after he came back, the gym leader in Agate retired, leaving Ace as the new leader, although Ace feels he's not very good at his job since he regularly gives out badges because he thinks the other trainer did a good job.
